SaferMe Installation

SaferMe is a contact tracing app that can be found in the Apple App Store or the Google Play store. Seton Hill has implemented Single Sign On to make registering easy.

What you need to know:

  • Search for SaferMe in your app store

  • DO NOT try to log in with your email address and password - Click Login via SSO on the Log In screen

  • Your organization ID is setonhill

  • Use your Seton Hill email address and mySHU password to log into the Microsoft SSO screen.

Detailed Configuration Instruction

  • Download the SaferMe app

  • Launch the app

  • Allow SaferMe to use your location

  • Log In with SSO

  • Enter "setonhill" (all one word) as the organization ID

  • Enter your entire Seton Hill email address into the Microsoft Sign in screen.

    • SaferMe has an authentication integration with Microsoft Office 365. This is what we use to download Microsoft Office. That is why it looks different that the mySHU login page.

  • Enter your mySHU password

  • Consent to your personal information dialog box.

    • The data they collect is on behalf of Seton Hill. We use it only for contract tracing purposes in the event of a positive COVID-19 diagnosis.

  • Allow SaferMe to use Bluetooth

  • Agree to the terms and conditions

  • Complete Daily Wellness Checks
