COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics

Seton Hill will host a Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for ALL members of the university community on Friday, May 7th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in McKenna Center Fitness/Aerobic room area. This clinic is open to everyone on campus - students, faculty and staff.

Second doses AND FIRST DOSES will be offered!

As a reminder, all Seton Hill University students who receive both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or a single dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine and upload their vaccination card to MedProctor by June 1 will receive a digital $25 Amazon gift card from the university. After uploading the vaccine card to MedProctor, students must email healthservices@setonhill.edu to alert the staff that their record has been updated.

Seton Hill University is offering another opportunity for campus community members to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination at an on-campus clinic that had been originally set up to offer second doses to those who had received their first Pfizer dose at the on-campus clinic on April 16.

During the clinic on Friday, May 7, Seton Hill University in partnership with Hayden's Pharmacy will be able to also offer first doses of the Pfizer vaccine to any and all Seton Hill community members who have not started the vaccination protocol.

The clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 7 in the lower level of McKenna Center in the Fitness/Aerobic Room area.

Those who would like to receive their FIRST DOSE of the Pfizer vaccine at this clinic must register at Hayden's Pharmacy at https://haydenspharmacy.com/seton-hill-vaccination-page/ by 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 5 AND select an appointment time using this Vaccine Appointment Form. Please note, when you complete the Hayden's registration you will see a green confirmation box. You will NOT receive a confirmation email from either the Hayden's system or the appointment scheduler, so please make note of the appointment time you selected.

Individuals who are scheduled to receive their SECOND DOSE of the Pfizer vaccine at the May 7 clinic DO NOT need to register but should arrive with their vaccination card and ID at the same time they arrived at the April 16th clinic.

Individuals who receive their FIRST DOSE of the Pfizer vaccine on May 7 will be eligible to receive their second dose on or after May 28. There are several options available to receive the second dose:

1. Individuals may receive their second dose at Hayden's Pharmacy or at a clinic run by Hayden's Pharmacy most likely after May 31 due to the Memorial Day holiday. Seton Hill will provide information about second dose appointments or clinic availability once they are finalized by Hayden's Pharmacy.

2. Individuals who live in Pennsylvania and cannot return to Hayden's to receive their second dose can receive their second dose at any provider in the Commonwealth on or after May 28. The Pennsylvania Department of Health has advised vaccine providers to especially work with college students returning to their home communities who need their second dose.

To help accommodate students who want to receive their second dose from Hayden's Pharmacy before returning home, Seton Hill University will allow students who receive their first dose at the May 7 clinic to remain in university housing until they are able to obtain their second dose from Hayden's. Please contact reslife@setonhill.edu if you need to remain in on-campus housing to obtain your second dose.

As a reminder, students who complete the vaccination protocol, upload their vaccination card to MedProctor AND alert Health Services at healthservices@setonhill.edu by June 1 will receive a digital Amazon Gift Card.

On the day of the clinic, please bring photo identification, any health insurance and/or Medicare cards if applicable; and wear a loose fitting shirt that allows access to the top of your arm.

Please take a few moments and register today for a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the May 7 clinic. We encourage participation by all members of the Seton Hill community to help us begin to return to a more normal campus experience.
